Our Story

The story of Aydos Hotels & Breeze Restaurant began in 1996, inspired by Ali Şefik Aydos' deep admiration for Dalyan's breathtaking natural beauty, tranquil waterways and unique way of life. What started as a passion soon evolved into a vision of creating a place where nature, comfort and genuine hospitality come together to offer unforgettable experiences.

At the time, the land consisted largely of cotton fields and wetlands. Believing in its remarkable potential, Ali Şefik Aydos acquired the property and laid the foundations for what would become one of Dalyan's most distinctive destinations. In 1997, the first architectural plans were prepared by architect Necat Yardımcı. As the region was still largely undeveloped, the construction process presented many challenges—even the access road to the property had to be created under Ali Şefik Aydos' leadership. With the valuable contributions of architect Ünver Peker, the project was completed in late 1999, and in 2000 Aydos Club proudly welcomed its first guests.

The vision of Ali Şefik Aydos was further strengthened by the extensive tourism experience and dedication of his brother-in-law, Murat Rahmi Başer. Together, they transformed Aydos Club into one of Dalyan's leading hospitality destinations, becoming a favourite choice for visitors from the United Kingdom for many years.

Committed to continuously enhancing the guest experience, the property introduced the Royal Boat (Saltanat Kayığı) in 2003, a unique vessel inspired by the elegant gondolas of Venice that quickly became one of Aydos' most iconic features. In 2012, the addition of Aydos Suites, designed by architect Mustafa Kemal Akpınar, brought together contemporary comfort, elegant architecture and modern hospitality.

Following more than two decades of dedication and growth, the management of the property was entrusted to Ege Aydos in 2023. Continuing the family's vision while embracing the future, a new chapter began in 2026 with the opening of Breeze Restaurant in collaboration with Ekim Dağ. Inspired by the natural beauty of Dalyan, Breeze Restaurant has become an integral part of the Aydos experience, offering carefully crafted cuisine in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Today, Aydos Hotels & Breeze Restaurant is more than simply a place to stay—it is a destination that reflects the spirit, natural beauty and genuine hospitality of Dalyan. With nearly three decades of experience, we continue to welcome guests with the same passion, care and family values that have shaped our journey from the very beginning, creating unforgettable memories for every visitor.
